Best Blood Irradiator Conditioning Workshop

Overview

ORS has worked with Best Theratronics to develop a workshop to provide participants with knowledge to condition Best Blood Irradiators (e.g., GammaCell 1000) for removal, transportation, and storage. The workshop will provide participants with hands on experience working with GammaCell Blood irradiators covering topics like: removing the unit from power; removing the covers; attaching a lead block to prevent rotor from turning; attaching rolla-lifts to the unit; placing the unit into the overpack with a crane or forklift; removing the unit from the overpack; and safely accessing and removing the sources from the unit.
